BUCKINGHAM — One person was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in Buckingham on Monday.

The crash, reported at 12:41 p.m. on U.S. Route 15 near Wise Ridge Road, involved a vehicle running off of the road down an embankment and overturning, according state police spokeswoman Corinne Geller.

The victim was transported to Centra Southside Community Hospital, she said.

She didn’t offer an extent of the injuries. U.S. Route 15 was reopened by 2:20 p.m.
