Mattie Cooper Winrow, 76, of Buckingham, passed peacefully at home Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She had a beautiful life with her husband of 58 years, the late David Winrow Sr.

Mattie is survived by her three children, David Winrow Jr. (Cheryl), Leslie Winrow and Kim Winrow; four grandchildren, John Day Jr. (Marqita), Lindsey Day, Sidney Mack and Sasha Reid; and three great-grandchildren, A’nya Mack, Sincere Mack and Na’Layshia “Yum Yum” Winrow.

Funeral services will be held on February 26 at 11 a.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Booker officiating.  Interment will follow in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia.
