Lynchburg man arrested in Buckingham

A 46-year-old Lynchburg man is being held without bond at the Piedmont Regional Jail in Farmville after being arrested on numerous felonies in Buckingham.
According to the Buckingham County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, Lewis Ross is charged with pointing or brandishing a firearm, assault and battery, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, strangulation and grand larceny.
According to Buckingham County Sheriff’s Office investigator Brent Uzdanvoics, Ross was apprehended on Stanton Town Road with assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service.
Several of the charges stemmed from an incident in Lynchburg, he said.
