Linwood Noah Hicks

Linwood Noah Hicks, 82, passed away. He was born September 2, 1933 to Noah Aquilla Hicks and Mary Meadows Hicks. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He is also known for his extensive logging career.
Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, Hilda Marie Hicks; a son, Richard Lee Hicks (Dale); grandsons, Noah Hicks (Melissa) and Richard Browning Hicks (Dawn); granddaughters, Amber Smith and Lindsay Smith (Sammy); five great-grandchildren, Stephen Smith, Sydney Smith, Kaylyn Sparkman, Abigail Hicks, and Rachel Hicks; stepchildren, Royal Rowe, Cinthia Rowe, and Lora Rowe Anderson; two step-grandchildren, Stacie Pruett and Michael Pruett; three brothers, Bootsie Hicks (Betty), Raymond Hicks, and Rhasa Hicks (Lois); three sisters, Edith Martin, Betty Church (Freddie) and Lucy Evans (Bill); two sisters-in-law, Charlotte Hicks and Shirley Hicks; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Willie Hicks, Bennie Lee Hicks, and Lonnie B. Hicks, a brother-in-law, Billy Evans and a sister-in-law, Doris Hicks.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29 from 5:30 p.m.–7 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held following visitation at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Puckett Funeral Home.
