John Henry Dickhoff, 94, of Farmville, passed away Friday evening, January 8, 2016 at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond. He was born October 12, 1921 in Farmville, the son of the late Carl William and Pauline Semrock.  He was predeceased by his wife, Bertha Meadows Dickhoff.

He is survived by sons, George Dickhoff and wife, Lynn of Farmville and John Henry Dickhoff Jr. and wife, Tina of Florida, and three grandchildren, Ashley and Tony Dickhoff of Farmville and Henry William Dickhoff of Florida.

A funeral service was held Monday, January 11 at St. John’s Lutheran Church with interment in Westview Cemetery.
