BUCKINGHAM — A grand larceny charge filed against a Buckingham County Middle School guidance counselor has been dropped.

According to the General District Court Online Case Information System, the felony charge against Christine Wingert, 43, was dropped on Jan. 11.

Wingert is listed on the school’s directory as a guidance counselor.

The offense date for the charge was listed as Nov. 1, according to the online system. The complainant in the case was listed as Stan Michael Mitchell.
