PRINCE EDWARD — VDOT will replace a bridge on Route 632 starting on Jan. 4, closing a portion of the road until April.
According to VDOT spokeswoman Paula Jones, the agency will replace a “structurally deficient” bridge on Route 632 over the Bush River.
“The work is being done by state forces for an estimated cost of approximately $250,000,” she said.
The road will be closed until April 8.
A detour will be put in place using Routes 633, 15, 647 and 630, she said. “Route 632 will be closed between the intersection of Route 633 and Route 630.”
