Christie Hales, public relations director of Southside Virginia Community College, and Jamie Jones (not pictured), former public relations assistant, received the 2015 NCMPR District 2 Silver Medallion Award for College Promotional Video with their “Our Programs Speak for Themselves” video. Jones also won a Silver Medallion Award in feature article/general news story/op-ed for his article “SVCC instructor ‘guides’ trailer invention.”  NCMPR District 2 includes 11 states, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and The Bahamas.
