One person was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 460 near Buffalo Creek on Sunday.

The accident was reported at about 2:32 p.m., according to Virginia State Police Spokeswoman Corinne Geller. She said that a vehicle traveling along 460 ran off the road and overturned in the woods.

“The driver was flown to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation,” she said.

All lanes of 460 were reopened by 4:15 p.m., Geller said.
