Retiring Hampden District Supervisor Charles W. “Charlie” McKay was recently presented with a resolution honoring his work on the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors by Del. James Edmunds, right. According to the resolution, McKay served on the board for 16 years. McKay worked as a law enforcement officer with the Hampden-Sydney College Police Department, joining the department in 1978 and retiring in 2002.
