Lola Hopper, of Farmville, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015. She was the daughter of Henry and Maggie Grindstaff. She was preceded in death by a son, Jay Hopper, a daughter-in-law, Patricia Lynn Hopper and a brother, Lawson Grindstaff.

She is survived by two sons, Lionel (Bonnie) and Jack Hopper, both of Powhatan; Marie Hopper of Farmville; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 11 in Amelia Veterans Cemetery at 3 p.m.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
