FARMVILLE — The Farmville Jaycees have announced winners of the 2015 Farmville Christmas Parade.

The Virginia Children’s Book Festival — featuring the Waterworks Players cast of “May the Farce be with You” — took first place in the non-commercial/religious float category.

The Prince Edward County Schools Bookworms took first in the marching unit category, while the Heart of Virginia Farmer’s Market took first in the commercial category.

New Horizon Equine Services took first in the horse category and the Cumberland Middle School Marching Band won the marching band category.
