FARMVILLE — The annual Farmville Christmas Parade, organized by the Farmville Jaycees, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday along Main Street in downtown Farmville.
The theme of the parade, sponsored exclusively by Alcova Mortgage, is songs of Christmas.
The Prince Edward Volunteer Rescue Squad will serve as the grand marshal of the parade, according to Jaycees President Cameron Patterson.
Richard LeSueur, a Herald sales representative and host of WVHL’s “Richard’s Roundup,” will emcee the parade, along with members of the WVHL team, according to a press release from the Jaycees.
Categories for judging will feature commercial floats, non-commercial floats, horses and marching units.
