A Buckingham County man faces two felony charges following a domestic incident at his home last Wednesday.

Derek Omasta, 27, was in jail Tuesday on a $2,500 secured bond after being charged with threatening to bomb or burn and with monument: intentional damage of something valued at greater than $1,000.

Omasta allegedly threatened to burn himself and the car of his wife; he kicked the windshield and destroyed the car’s roof, police said. He faces 15 years in prison if convicted of the crimes.
