Debra “Debbie” Taylor Thompson, 59, of Prospect, passed away in Richmond on Saturday, December 26, 2015 surrounded by loved ones. She was born to Mary Loveday Stearnes and Alfred Cook Taylor on October 5, 1956 in Farmville.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mandalyn R. Swanson of Virginia Beach and Tedra L. Buckler of Richmond; sons-in-law, Timothy R. Buckler of Richmond and Jordan A. Gilles of Virginia Beach; stepmother, Wanda Taylor of Buckingham; half-brother, Andrew Taylor of Buckingham; step-siblings, Daevid Reed of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, Dianne Williamson of Pamplin, and Carol Ayers of Appomattox; her close friend, Floyd Lindsey of Prospect; and her many fur babies. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents, Coye and Lida Loveday of Prospect, Virginia.
