The 2015 Annual Thanksgiving Dinner was held at the home of James and Virginia Boyles Nov. 29. A large crowd attended.

Our prayers for a special recovery to Steve Ragland, of Buckingham, who underwent a knee replacement Dec. 1.

Cedar Baptist Church, 3932 Bell Road, Dillwyn, will hold its annual Christmas program “A Christmas Cupcake” on Sunday, Dec. 13, at 6 p.m. Refreshments will follow. Pastor Tommy Armstrong invites all to attend.

Sympathy is extended to the Connell family, of Dillwyn. Helen Ala Connell, age 83, went home to be with the Lord Nov. 23. She will be greatly missed by all.

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association will hold its annual Christmas Banquet on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 14405 W. James Anderson Highway, Buckingham.
