The Third Thursday Book Club met Nov. 19 at the home of Elizabeth McCutchen. The speaker was Dr. Walter Witschey, professor of anthropology and science education at Longwood University and co-author of the book, “Historical Dictionary of Mesoamerica.” Witschey’s talk was divided into two parts.  In the first part of his presentation he focused on the changes that electronic communication has brought to the writing process. In the second part, he discussed the effects global warming are having on the world.  Pictured with Witschey, right, is McCutchen.
