During the September meeting of the Heritage Garden Club, Town of Farmville horticulturalist David Fowlkes took members on a walking tour of downtown Farmville.  Members enjoyed learning about the variety of plantings he combines in the many planters that beautify our town. In addition to the planters around Main Street, Fowlkes plans and maintains the gardens at the Farmville Welcome signs as well as at the train station.
