Buckingham County High School recently held its annual Education Credit Management Corp. (ECMC) College Night. Juniors and seniors and their parents attended informational sessions on scholarships, applying to college and financial aid as well as a panel on advice from current college students. The ECMC Foundation provided free pizza for students and their families as well as the “opportunities” books, providing a wealth of information for those hoping to attend college.  At the end of the event, three students were each awarded $500 scholarships from the ECMC Foundation. Scholarship winners shown with their certificates are, from left, Ashley Rivers, Ricardo Vallejo and Taylor Costello.
