Eagle Scouts named in Boy Scout Troop 6535

James R. Cox and Nicholas Grigg received the Eagle Scout award recently during a ceremony for Boy Scout Troop 6535.
Cox, son of Lee and Tim Cox, attends Longwood University. At Buckingham County High School he was a participant in the Student Council Association, Future Farmers of America and Future Business Leaders of America. He was a participant in the school’s Cohort program and will graduate with an associate’s degree.
Grigg, son of Sharon and E.G. Grigg, was a member of the BCHS Student Council Association, Future Business Leaders of America and the BETA Club. He was named Most Valuable Player on the varsity baseball team. He is also an active member of the Dillwyn Volunteer Fire Department. He attends Southside Virginia Community College in Keysville.
Both scouts earned the Arrow of Light and religious award in Cub Scouts. Both Eagle Scout projects were done for Historic Buckingham.
Troop 6535 is sponsored by the Buckingham Masonic Lodge #242.
