PRINCE EDWARD — Morgan Greer has resigned from his post as deputy county attorney for the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors.
In his resignation letter to County Attorney Jim Ennis, Greer said he’s accepted employment in Richmond.
His resignation was effective Oct. 25, according to the letter.
Ennis is retiring as commonwealth’s attorney, leaving the county attorney position for the board vacant. Commonwealth’s Attorney-elect Megan Clark said she wouldn’t serve as county attorney.
