Central Virginia Arts featured the work of Cynthia Bergstrom Devlin and Frederick Gamage at a reception in October. CVA members provided an array of appetizers and desserts to celebrate the occasion.
Devlin’s “intuitive art” paintings are often guided by her dreams. Gamage’s work is inspired by the rural landscape around the James River and near his home in Cartersville.
The exhibit continues through Nov. 28, at the Riverside Café, 522 N. Main St., Farmville, 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Central Virginia Arts, a partner of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, is a regional organization offering artists and art appreciators lectures, workshops, exhibits, tours and social events throughout the year. For information, call Rick Thomas at (434) 607-2826.
