Visible Idioms exhibit set for Red Door 104

Emerging photographer Bart Kendrick announced that his photograph series “Visible Idioms©” has been selected for a solo art exhibition at the Red Door 104 Gallery in Farmville opening on Friday, Nov. 6.
Kendrick is an artist who has shown his dynamic and colorful Koi, floral, and still life photographs in local shows, Washington, D.C. and Georgia.
Kendrick’s series of “Visible Idioms” was selected by Red Door 104 owner and artist Audrey Sullivan following a portfolio review this past summer. The dates for this show are Nov. 6 through Jan. 8, 2016. An opening reception will be held Nov. 6, 6-8 p.m.
Kendrick lives in Farmville and has created his photographs here and on travels across the country for more than five years.
Regarding this art show Kendrick said, “I am very pleased to be invited by Red Door 104 for this solo show. It is nice to be recognized locally as it is now where I live and work.”
The Red Door 104 Gallery and Art School recently opened following a major reconstruction of its building.
The new spaces are used as a studio where instruction is offered in a variety of art forms as well as to feature works of the owner/artist Audrey Sullivan.
The Red Door 104 Gallery is located at 104 North Main Street, Farmville.
