Mr. and Mrs. Robert Paul Ingle Jr., of Cumberland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Brooke, to Collin Stokes, son of Cary and Sarah Stokes, of Farmville. 

Ms. Ingle, a doctoral candidate at Rocky Mountain University of Health Profession, is currently employed as an instructor of athletic training at Longwood University. 

Mr. Stokes is a general contractor and owner of Stokes Construction, LLC in Farmville. 

A December wedding is planned.
