Talk set at H-SC Atkinson Museum

On Sunday at 3 p.m. Hampden-Sydney College’s Atkinson Museum, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts speaker Trent Nicholas will deliver a talk entitled “The Juxtaposed: Magritte, Cornell, Rousseau” in which he will compare the surreal work of René Magritte, Joseph Cornell and Henri Rousseau. The talk is co-sponsored by Central Virginia Arts and is free and open to the public. This program has been organized by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and is supported, in part, by the Paul Mellon Endowment and the Jean Stafford Camp Memorial Fund.
