Riding Star 4-H wins 27 ribbons

The Prince Edward Riding Star 4-H Horse and Pony Club recently attended the Virginia 4-H State Championship Horse Show held in Lexington. The club earned 27 ribbons, including a Champion ribbon and trophy by Courtney Bailey for sweeping the Hunter Pleasure, Large Pony — Senior Division (16-19). This was her second year winning this award. Leighann Sims earned a Reserve ribbon in the Hunter Pleasure, Large Pony — Senior Division (14-15) as well. Bailey and Sims were invited to participate in the Sunday Classics event where Bailey was awarded the second highest Reserve ribbon; Sims placed ninth.
