Current Prince Edward County Treasurer Donna Bowman Nunnally has announced her re-election bid for the upcoming Nov. 3 election.

“Donna is a lifelong resident of Prince Edward County and a graduate of Prince Edward County High School,” she said in a statement.

“Donna has served in the Prince Edward County Commissioner of Revenue’s and Treasurer’s offices for the past 17 years.”

Nunnally is the only candidate in the race and is the Democratic nominee.

Nunnally serves on the board for the Piedmont Alcohol Safety Action Program and on the Moton Museum Family Challenge Committee as well. 

“It has been an honor serving the citizens of Prince Edward County as treasurer for the past three years,” Nunnally said.

The candidate and her two daughters, Nikki and Darienne, live in Rice.
