Master Food training offerred

The Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Food Volunteer program provides training in food safety, food science, food preparation and nutrition. The program allows people with an interest in cooking and nutrition to develop new avenues for helping the community.
The program includes 30 hours of training over four days. The training will be held at Southern Piedmont AREC in Blackstone Oct. 30, Nov. 6, 13 and 20 from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. If you live in the counties of Charlotte, Dinwiddie, Lunenburg or Prince Edward contact your local Extension Office for additional details.
Applications are due by Oct. 22.
