BUCKINGHAM — Several pieces of power equipment were allegedly stolen from Scottsville Power Equipment during a breaking and entering reported on Saturday, Sept. 26.

According to the Buckingham County Sheriff’s Office, an alarm call came from the business, located at 13146 S. Constitution Route at about 4:16 a.m.

Before police were on-scene, the owner said that he had “discovered the front door glass was broken and the door was opened, but nobody was seen in the area.”

Once on-scene, sheriff’s deputies discovered that power equipment was missing from showroom displays.

“A further investigation revealed the suspect(s) left ‘something’ belonging to them at the scene,” police said in a release.
