Firefighters train for the community

Firefighters from Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department recently took part in vehicle fire suppression training. Despite the recent summer heat, training continued for these dedicated firefighters. Pictured, from left, are firefighters A.J. Tucker, Cody Ingle, Deputy Chief Bradley Ingle, E.B. Zirkle and Caleb Smith. Also present but not pictured were Chief Mark Chambliss, firefighter Robby Dotson and junior firefighter Vince Tate Jr. Their service to the community — along with that of all area volunteer firefighters — through fighting dangerous fires or participating in training exercises is commendable.
