HALIFAX — Republican James Edmunds, who represents Prince Edward County in the Virginia House of Delegates, was recently endorsed by the National Rifle Association and by the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation’s AgPAC political action committee.

Edmunds is running unopposed for re-election for the 60th District seat.

According to an NRA press release, Edmunds received an “A” rating from the group.

“Delegate Edmunds is among 115 candidates that Virginia Farm Bureau Federation AgPAC has endorsed for the 2015 campaign,” a separate release stated. “Endorsements were made based on the recommendations of local committees of farmers.”
