Antonio (Tony) Ronald Wickizer, 69, of Dillwyn, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015.  He was born March 15, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana, a son of Edwina Nieuwland of Dillwyn and the late George Wickizer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Della Hardiman Wickizer, whom he affectionately called “Della Rose”; his two children, Mandy Wickizer Gray (Matt) of Chesterfield and Aaron Wickizer (Heather) of Dillwyn; brothers, Dan Wickizer (Mona) of Farmville and Dale Wickizer (Barbara) of Springfield; three grandchildren, Austin and Wyatt Wickizer and Sophie Gray; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his in-laws, Lindbergh and Evelyn Hardiman and two sisters-in-law, Linda Meador and Sandra Witt (Jerry).

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Paul Nieuwland and a sister, Nancy Walker.

A funeral service was held October 5 at Cedar Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
