Anderson gets 16 months for drug charges

BUCKINGHAM — A Dillwyn man will spend 16 months in prison after pleading guilty to two charges of manufacturing and selling a schedule III controlled substance.
Mark Alonzo Anderson was sentenced in Buckingham Circuit Court on Oct. 13 on the charges after pleading guilty, according to Commonwealth’s Attorney E.M. Wright Jr. and the Virginia Courts Case Information website.
Anderson was also sentenced with probation in addition to the jail time.
