The 15th annual Walk for Education sponsored by the Cumberland County Public School Foundation, Inc. will be held on Friday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., on the Cumberland High School track. In 2013-14 the Foundation raised over $20,000 through various fundraising events. In May grants and special projects to teachers/classrooms were given in the amount of $8,000 and $22,050 in scholarships were presented to 22 high school graduates. Church or organizational groups are invited to join the students for this event.
