The Peter Francisco Soil and Water Conservation District is sponsoring a poster contest on “Local Heroes – Your Hardworking Pollinators” for the counties of Buckingham and Cumberland. 

There are five categories by grade:  K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. The District is awarding a $25 gift card to the first-place winner in each category.

Winning posters are forwarded to the state level, and winners from the state are sent to the national contest where $200 is awarded to the first and second place winners in each category and $150 is awarded to the third place winner.
