WUY Summer Jamboree Is Saturday

We Understand Youth (WUY) will hold its second annual Summer Jamboree and Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Department DARE Day on Saturday, 1-5 p.m. The free event will be located at Robert Russa Moton Museum. A drug awareness workshop will be given by accredited DARE officer Lt. Sonya Walker, and there will be a professional youth fashion show. Also featured will be author of “Chunky and Friends” Joseph Vivens and NASCAR racer Dynasty Spurlock, keynote speaker. Free food and prizes will be given. All are invited.
