The July 4 Old Time Pamplin Dance will feature traditional Fourth of July fare prepared and served by the Pamplin Area Legacy Supporters, PALS. The $4 per plate fee includes grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, chips, baked beans (two homemade recipes), cole slaw, grilled squash, iced tea and apple pie. Dinner will be served from 6 p.m. with music and dance from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

This monthly dance is an all-volunteer effort to raise funds for the Pamplin Depot Fund. The original goal to finish the Freight Room floor has been reached. The next project is to refurbish two antique benches in the Freight Room.

The community is invited to the July 4 events.
