New Bethel Baptist Church (Meherrin) will hold homecoming Sunday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Haney Thomas Jr. pastor preaching. Dinner will follow. Revival will be held Aug. 3 – 7. Prayer and praise will be held nightly at 7:30 p.m. with worship service at 8 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Gary Harmon, of Lynchburg, will be the preacher for the week. All are invited. Musical guests will be: Monday Peaks Baptist Church Men’s Chorus; Tuesday – The Voices of Unity Community Choir; Wednesday – Apostolic Faith Church of All Nations Choir; Thursday – First Nottoway Baptist Church Choir; Friday – New Bethel Baptist Church Combined Choir.
