PRINCE EDWARD — The trial for a former Prince Edward County Schools employee on felony embezzlement and forgery charges was continued Wednesday.

According to Prince Edward Circuit Court officials, the trial for 45-year-old Eric T. Vaughan has been continued to Aug. 12.

The Farmville man formerly served as supervisor of maintenance for the schools before being terminated in October, Division Superintendent Dr. David Smith said. Vaughan had worked for the school division since 1998.
