Beatrice Morgan England, 92, of Dillwyn, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 27, 2015. Bea, as all her friends called her, always put the Lord first in her life and found peace and comfort from her relationship with her heavenly father.
She spent most of her life on the farm where she spent endless hours laboring to provide for her family’s needs. Even with all the farm work she still was able to be the best mother to her children that any of us could ask for. Through the years Bea opened her home to several foster children who needed help and some extra love to hold them over until their life could be put back on track or in some cases, new loving parents could be found for them.
She is survived by two sons, Jim England of Gretna and Tommy England of Dillwyn; two stepsons, Marshall England Jr. of TN and Bill England of Dillwyn; two foster daughters, Carolyn Angus of Amherst and Belle McCormick of Lynchburg; a sister, Dorothy Hurst of Maryville, TN; a brother, James Morgan of Maryville, TN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall C. England, her daughter, Patsy and two brothers, RC and Kenneth Morgan.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31 at 11 a.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home with interment in the Jones Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is assisting the family.
