The third annual Elias Harold Jones Memorial Scholarship for Leadership and Character was presented by Patty Jones to Kyle Anema at the Prince Edward High School Senior Showcase on May 28. This scholarship is given by Elias’s family to honor his memory. Kyle earned the scholarship based on his involvement in the school and the community. Kyle is the son of Rita and Jim Anema, of Farmville, and he plans to attend SVCC in the fall.
