LEXINGTON — AD Falkhans Majeed was recently shown at the Blue Ridge Arabian Classic in Lexington. Majeed is a 5-year-old purebred Arabian gelding owned and bred by Donna Groseclose of Arabians Destiny in Farmville. Majeed was trained by Janet Schipper and JR Schipper of Charlotte Court House.

“At the Classic, Majeed was shown by professional trainer/handler Larry Jones (Jonesboro Farm in Culpeper),” Groseclose said. “His comments to me were, ‘You should be very proud of him.’ We definitely need to work on his muscle development, but his behavior at the show was wonderful. I also thank JR Schipper and Erin Brecht for helping with Mahjeed at the show.”

Majeed placed third in his two classes; Purebred Arabian Sport Horse Geldings in Hand Hunter Type 5 and Under, and Purebred Arabian Sport Horse Geldings in Hand Dressage Type 5 and Under.
