Virginia Lt. Governor Ralph Northam takes a photo moment with this Girls State participant on Tuesday. Girls State is being held this week at Longwood University. The event is sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary and offers lessons in citizenship and the political process to rising high school seniors from across Virginia.
