JUNE 2 — Johnnie Marie Simpson, 89, of Farmville, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015. She was born in Tennessee on September 16, 1925. She was a faithful member of Worsham Baptist Church and a devoted servant to her family and her Lord.

Mrs. Simpson is survived by her daughter-in-law, Brenda Baldwin; daughter-in-law, Ursula King; son-in-law, Bud McQuinn; son-in-law, John Clark; grandsons, Pinkey Baldwin IV, John Baldwin, and Lori Wadell; great-grandsons, Timothy, John, Weston Baldwin, and Andrew Wadell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Simpson, son, John Payne, son, Pinkey Baldwin III, daughter, Cathy McQuinn, and daughter, Sandy Clark.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 2 in the Chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Interment was in the Westview Cemetery.
