I read, with interest, the article titled “Squad Receives Extra Funds” (Wednesday, June 3). My interest changed to concern when I became aware that the response rate quoted for February and April was, in error, attributed to the Cartersville Volunteer Rescue Squad.

The correction published on Friday, June 12, did nothing to alleviate my concern. Cartersville Volunteer Rescue Squad wants the citizens of Cumberland County to know that Cartersville Volunteer Rescue Squad’s response rate in February was 90 percent and in April was 95 percent.
