NOTICE OF SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE’S SALE

In execution of a Deed of Trust from Dewey W. Meekins dated January 30, 2004, and recorded in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Prince Edward County, Virginia, as Instrument Number 200400245, default having occurred in the payment of interest and principal thereby secured, and at the request of the holder of the note secured thereby, the undersigned will offer the below described property for sale at public auction to the highest bidder for cash on Monday, June 15, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., on the front steps of the Prince Edward County Courthouse, Main Street, Farmville, Virginia, the said property being described as follows:

ALL THAT CERTAIN LOT, piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in Hampden Magisterial District, Prince Edward County, Virginia, and known and designated as Lot No. 21, containing 3.06 acres and more clearly shown on that certain Plat prepared by Maxey-Hines & Associates, P.C., entitled “Rainbow Estates”, dated February 28, 1997, and recorded in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Prince Edward County, Virginia in Plat Book 006, at Page 322. Reference to said Plat is hereby expressly given for a more accurate and complete description of said property. And

BEING the same property conveyed to Dewey W. Meekins by Deed of B. T. Friend Company, a Virginia Corporation, recorded in the above mentioned Clerk’s Office as Instrument No. 200400244. Said Deed of Trust was later assumed by Sharon Collins by Deed of Assumption dated June 30, 2009, and recorded in the above mentioned Clerk’s Office as Instrument No. 200901939.
