POWHATAN, April 30 — Janet L. Patterson, of Powhatan, left our world to be with the Lord Saturday, April 25, 2015.

She is survived by her life partner, Corky Wagner; four siblings, Nancy Payne and Connie Dandridge (Bubba) both of Powhatan, Billy Patterson of North Carolina, and George Patterson of Farmville; six nieces, two nephews, seven great nieces and nephews; two special stepchildren, Christina Kantzler and Travis Bennett and a host of many friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Powhatan Moose Lodge, 4140 Old Buckingham Road, Powhatan.
