KEYSVILLE, April 16 — Herman Donald Atkins, 66, of Keysville, formerly of Crewe, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2014.

He is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Spillman (Charlie) and Lisa Haley (Dennis); four grandchildren, Shannon Spillman, Lindsey Spillman, Curtis Moorefield, and Brittney Moorefield; a brother, Dewey Atkins (Carolyn); and five sisters, Earline Fix (Henry), Geraldine Letterman (Doug), Alice Payne, Nancy Childress, and Ellen Jennings (Gene). He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman P. Atkins and Lillian Smith Atkins and a brother, Douglas Atkins.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 18 in the Crewe Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Woodmen Hall in Crewe on Friday, April 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, Keysville, is in charge of arrangements.
