Eastside Speedway held its 2014 annual awards ceremony on February 13 at the Washington & Lee University campus. John R. Crews III (14), of Buckingham, was awarded ninth place in overall season points standings for the Mini Modified Division at the ceremony. In his rookie season, Crews had one pole position, one Top Five finish, and nine Top Ten finishes while competing in an adult class. Crews will race a full schedule in the Mini Modified Division at Eastside Speedway this year and will also race off weekends at the Natural Bridge Speedway.
