DARLINGTON HEIGHTS, March 10 — George Deford Shorter, 92, of Darlington Heights, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015.

He is survived by his wife, May C. Shorter, a daughter, Tina Wells and three grandchildren, Alexander, John and Emily Wells.

A graveside funeral service was held at Spring Creek Baptist Church, Darlington Heights, on Monday, March 9.
